Ok, so I'm reaaally tired, and I can't think well enough to write out a long descriptive comment at the moment, but I'll sum up the important stuff.

-This is supposed to be Xaiomei from the webcomic Common Grounds. by :iconshadowivy: In my opinion, she doesn't look asian enough, but try as I might I couldn't make it work. <.<

-I promised :iconshadowivy: some fanart for her birthday back in August. So here we are. (half a year later) I have delivered as promised. ;p

-I suck at backgrounds. ^^;

And there you have it!

Xiaomei belongs to :iconshadowivy: you should all check out her comic, it's good.

Nice color scheme, and I see you're getting better with hair. The background's not too bad, just think you need to lower the purple bar some so it better suggests a floor and wall.

..I just had a thought: why don't I try coloring something of yours sometime, just for kicks?

Ooooh...:heart: Not only do I love how this turned out, but I am going to have to declare that this will be the colour scheme for the outfit (oddly enough, I had yet to come up with one myself. ^^; ). I'll of course give proper credit where it's due. Seriously, this is really killer--and I didn't mention it the first time around, but you've really nailed her 'bad-ass femininity' persona and look here. Now I'm inspired to draw some long-overdue Xiaomei art. :hug: Thank you again!
